Can HubSpot integrate with Shopify?

Yes, and by integrating your Shopify and HubSpot accounts, you can implement strategies to increase your marketing outreach and develop useful reports from your store data to help you make informed decisions. HubSpot allows you to gain numerous insights, such as your monthly progress toward sales goals and how to expand into new markets. HubSpot integration offers useful tools and growth strategies, including abandoned cart emails. To qualify for HubSpot Shopify integration, you must be a super admin or have App Marketplace Access. By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to integrate your HubSpot and Shopify stores.

How to integrate HubSpot and Shopify

Here’s a quick summary of the steps you’ll take to integrate your HubSpot and Shopify accounts:

  1. Find Shopify integration in the App marketplace.

  2. Install and connect your Shopify store.

  3. Log in with your Shopify credentials.

Let’s take a look at these steps in greater detail.

1. Find Shopify integration in the App Marketplace.

From your HubSpot account, select the Marketplace icon in the navigation bar. Then, click App Marketplace. Once you’re in the App Marketplace, find Shopify integration using the search bar.

2. Install and connect your Shopify store.

After locating Shopify integration in the App Marketplace, select Install app. To connect to your Shopify store, enter its URL and select Connect to Shopify.

3. Log in with your Shopify credentials.

Enter your Shopify credentials in the pop-up window, then select Log in. After logging in to your Shopify account, you should receive a message indicating that your HubSpot and Shopify have successfully integrated. 

Create e-commerce dashboard reports 

Now that your Shopify store is connected to HubSpot, you have the ability to create a dashboard of e-commerce reports. These customizable dashboards allow you to track your chosen reports, such as customer engagement and order tracking. Here’s how you can create an e-commerce dashboard:

1. Access dashboards.

In your HubSpot account, select Reports, then Dashboards. From there, click Create dashboard.

2. Choose your template.

Go to E-commerce and select E-commerce template. Then, you can choose which reports to include in your dashboard by checking the boxes next to them. After deciding on the reports, click Next.

3. Create a dashboard.

Lastly, set the user access for the dashboard and enter the dashboard name. Then, select Create dashboard

Other considerations

You can choose one-way or two-way sync when syncing data between HubSpot and Shopify. With one-way sync, deals, contacts, and products are synced from your Shopify store to HubSpot.

HubSpot Shopify integration features: Two-way sync

Two-way sync allows customer contact information updates made in either Shopify or HubSpot to appear in both systems. 

 

One-way sync is the default selection, but you can activate two-way sync from your HubSpot account through the following steps: 

  1. Select the Marketplace icon

  2. Select Connected apps under Manage

  3. Select Shopify and click the Contacts tab

  4. Select Sync limited HubSpot updates to Shopify to enable two-way sync.
